Kasshabog Lake, or “Kosh Lake,” as it’s affectionally referred to, is a landlocked lake located approx 45 minutes from Peterborough and within a 2-hour drive to the GTA. It’s been termed “the best-kept cottage secret” as it’s a beautiful lake situated within the Canadian Shield. Hundreds of small islands, granite cliffs and picturesque bays make Kosh Lake a remarkable cottage environment. The lake is spring-fed, making it a swimmers paradise with it’s clear, clean water. It’s also home to some excellent fishing – but shhh – that’s a secret. There are several boat launches as well as a sandy beach that is home to the lake’s annual Regatta and a lake community library.

Kosh Lake offers cottagers the perfect mix of a larger lake boating experience while maintaining the community feel of a land-locked lake. It’s approx.
